Accrosport, a brand from Normandy

Accrosport was born in 1992 in Gruchet le Valasse (between Le Havre and Rouen).

André Daussy was then a fitness instructor and the manager of the Walhalla club. He bought this club installed in the premises of the abbey of Valasse and gave birth to Accrosport. This club still exists, moved to Auberville-la-Campagne after restitution of the initial premises.

In 1995, the second Accrosport club is established in Le Havre; then a third one is created proposing aquagym activities in 1999. These 2 Le Havre clubs were reunited and transferred in 2012 to the Docks Vauban in the shopping center at the entrance of the city, offering a unique training space in a historical place.

Rouen: 2003, the first club in Rouen was created on rue Saint-Julien, on the left bank, before a second one in Bihorel on the northern plateau of the city. The Accrosport offer on the Rouen agglomeration is consolidated by the creation of the 3rd club within the Docks 76 shopping center in 2013.

In September 2015 Accrosport moved to Caen to the Rives de l’Orne.

In September 2016, a new club opens in Amiens.

Finally, in 2021, a new club opens in Strasbourg.

Accrosport is a professional brand. The solid experience acquired by the group since the creation of the first center in 1992 ensures the relevance of the analysis of its members’ needs and allows the brand to develop its model without deviating from its fundamentals. Its creator, today the Group’s president, has encouraged this development, which guarantees the preservation of the brand’s values and identity.
